Habitat Newsletter

Meet Treasure Valley Habitat for Humanity.

Summer 2020

Thank You

On June 30, after twelve years, I will be leaving Treasure Valley Habitat for Humanity. I am retiring with plans of becoming a bad golfer, an okay skier, and a professional Grandad. Following an unusual transition period due to COVID-19 issues, Janessa Chastain will be the new Executive Director. An excellent choice for future leadership of this affiliate. In place of a good-bye I would like to express my thanks for twelve very interesting years and countless valuable lessons.

Thank you to our Volunteers. If I have learned lessons they have come from our volunteers. During 15+ years with Habitat (including my volunteer time) I have met, observed, and worked with some of the most dedicated individuals that I could ever hope to encounter. Hundreds of good people who give this affiliate and the families we serve thousands of hours of their time, hard work and expertise. It is an unbelievable gift to our affiliate and offers such a powerful example of how much people want to contribute to their community and to the people with whom we live.
