From a quiet Evening in the Garden in 2007 to a 200-person, sold-out event, Evening in the Garden has been a key fixture of FarWest Landscape & Garden Center’s philanthropic efforts. For 17 years, Dennis & Maya Fix, owners of FarWest, and 45 employees have generously donated their seven-acre nursery to serve as the backdrop for Habitat’s key fundraiser. Yet, most of you don’t know the history of FarWest’s contributions and breadth of support for Habitat and the event.
