Thrivent Builds Homes

Treasure Valley Habitat for Humanity is very pleased to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of a 2019 Habitat-Thrivent Faith Build Grant. This generous grant will build our fourth and final home in the Tradewinds Subdivision. Thrivent Financial is contributing 50% of the total cost of this home and is also engaging the local faith community to assist with funding and a commitment of volunteers to build with Habitat. Construction will begin in June 2019.

This is the seventh Habitat home made possible by a global partnership between Habitat for Humanity International and Thrivent Financial. This collaboration has empowered Thrivent members and other volunteers to help build or repair over 4,000 Habitat homes since 2005. Thanks to the more than 2.3 million members of Thrivent Financial, and other volunteers, Thrivent is able to contribute to the construction of simple, decent, and affordable homes around the world.

Treasure Valley Habitat is fortunate to have a vibrant partnership with the local Thrivent representatives, many of whom we have worked with for nearly ten years. We thank them and look forward to joining them on the worksite to build on behalf of another hard-working Idaho family.
